@Tamara: I found a field full of 'em!! I also found all those bees I keep hearing are missing... there were thousands of bees on these flowers.
Lucky for you, they didn't sting on obstruct your view for this lovely picture! I would love to be in that field. :)

@Tamara: Have you heard of the "gnat line"? I have never seen so many gnats in my life as I did in that field. There were actually gnats in between my my lense and the cap! They are still in my truck. I found not only the missing bees but the thickest part of the gnat line!! (I wish the wind was not blowing so hard, the sunflowers were awesome)
No, I haven't heard of that term, but I do feel your "gnat pain". They are terrible little critters! I can't believe they're still thriving in your truck! Poor you! :( The wind has ruined many of my pictures of flowers, making them blurry! Some of them I like, but it can be difficult. You can't tell in this picture though.. the sunflower in front stayed very focused! :)

It's great how you got the focus on the flower and the leaves with the overall depth of field in the shot.
